Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy launched the Indiramma Housing Scheme on March 11, 2024. Under this scheme, the Telangana government will provide free land and financial assistance to the citizens of the state to build houses so that they can build a safe and permanent home for themselves. This scheme provides permanent homes to economically weaker and homeless families. This initiative is especially important for landless individuals, activists, and fighters of the Telangana movement who have remained homeless despite their contribution to the state. The Telangana government has announced the Indiramma Housing Scheme Telangana 2025 for the homeless citizens of the state. Under this scheme, the Telangana government will provide financial assistance of ₹ 5 lakh to the citizens of the general category, while ₹ 6 lakh will be provided to the people of Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST). So that he can build his own permanent house with the financial assistance amount and live his life in it.

The scheme aims to provide a total of 450,000 houses in the state of Telangana, for which the Telangana government has allocated a budget of Rs 22,000 crore. The eligible beneficiaries who have been selected for this scheme will have to start construction by March 10. In this initiative, priority is given to landless persons, workers, and those living without permanent housing.

The main objective of the Indiramma Housing Scheme Telangana is to provide free land and financial assistance for housing to all the landless and homeless citizens of the state. • Citizens who have a pucca house are not eligible for this scheme.
