The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), Government of India, has started the PM Internship Scheme (PMIS) 2025 registration process on its official portal, pminintership.mca.gov.in. If you are a student and want to gain industry experience in your field of interest, then you can apply for the PM Internship Scheme (PMIS). The scheme is designed for students aged 21-24 years and offers 12 months of internship in India’s top 500 companies across various industries. A monthly stipend of ₹6,000 is also provided to the selected candidates during the internship. Interested candidates can apply for the scheme by visiting its official website. The last date to apply has been fixed as March 12, 2025.

What is the last date to apply for PM Internship Scheme?

• The last date to apply for the PM Internship Scheme 2025 is 12 March 2025. Candidates can register before the last date by visiting the official website.

Eligibility Criteria

• To register, the student must be a permanent resident of India.
• The age of the applicant student should be between 21 and 24 years.
• The applicant must have a 10th or 12th-grade diploma or graduation degree.
• Candidates having a professional degree (B.Tech, MBA, CA, etc.) are not eligible
• The annual income of the applicant student’s family should be less than ₹800000.

PM Internship Scheme 2025 Benefits & Stipend

• Each student will be provided financial assistance of ₹5000 on completion of 12 months internship
• After reaching the internship location, the Government of India will provide a one-time grant of Rs 6,000, which will be deposited directly into your account.
• Trainees will receive insurance coverage under the insurance schemes of the Government of India.
• Through a 12-month internship at the country’s top 500 companies, interns will gain real work experience

Budget Allocation

• Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has allocated a budget of Rs 800 crore for the PM Internship Scheme 2025.

Education Qualifications

• Candidates must have passed the 10th and 12th classes, they must have an ITI certificate or diploma from a polytechnic institute.
• Candidates must have a valid degree in the field of BA, BSc, BBA, BCom, or B Pharma.

Salient Features

• Stipend: Selected candidates will be provided a stipend of ₹5,000 per month during the internship period of 12 months, out of which ₹4,500 will be provided by the government and ₹500 by the respective company.
• Internship Duration: This internship will be for one year, during which candidates will get an opportunity to work in India’s top 500 companies across various sectors.
• One-time grant: After joining, a one-time grant of Rs 6,000 will be provided, which will be directly credited to your account.
• Insurance Coverage: Insurance coverage will be provided to the trainees under Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana by the Government.

1^st Step:- All the interested candidates have to visit the official website of the PM Internship Scheme to register.

2^nd Step:- After visiting the website, you have to click on the option of “Youth Registration”.

3^rd Step:- After that, young citizens have to enter their mobile number in the pop-up and click on the option of “Get OTP”.

4^th Step:- Now, OTP will come on your mobile number; enter it and click on the submit option.

5^th Step:- Young citizens will get a pop-up for consent for Aadhaar on top of the update password. Young citizens need to tick the checkbox and click on “Agree” to proceed.

6^th Step:- After that, the young citizens have to enter their current password and updated password twice and click on the submit option.

7^th Step:- Now a new page will open in front of you. On this page, the young citizens have to click on the option of “candidate profile”.

8^th Step:- Now the young citizens have to create their candidate profile one by one, which includes e KYC, Personal Details, Contact Details, Education Details, Bank Details, Skill and Language.

9^th Step:- After entering all these, finally, you have to click on the submit option.

10^th Step:- In this way, you can register online for the PM Internship Scheme.

Step to Login at pminternship mca.gov in Portal

1^st Step:- Interested candidates who have completed their registration process and want to login on the portal are requested to visit the official website of the scheme.

2^nd Step:- After visiting the home page of the website, you will have to look for the login option and click on it.

3^rd Step:- Now the login page will open in front of you. On this page, you will have to enter your username and password.

4^th Step:- Finally, click on the login option to complete their process.
