About Thalliki Vandanam Scheme 2025

Before coming to power, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu had announced the Thalliki Vandanam scheme. After successfully coming to power, the TDP party has finally launched the Thalliki Vandanam scheme. Under this scheme, financial assistance of ₹15000 will be provided to selected students from class 1 to 12 studying in government schools in the state. This assistance amount will be transferred directly to the bank account of the student’s parents. So that they can fulfill the educational needs of the children. A total budget of Rs 9,407 crore has been set by the Andhra Pradesh government for the implementation of this scheme. This initiative will benefit millions of students and improve the level of education in the state.

Thalliki Vandanam will start from this academic year

Under this scheme, the government will provide financial assistance of Rs 15000 per year to the selected students. Which will be transferred directly to the student’s mother’s bank account through DBT. The Andhra Pradesh government has set a total budget of Rs 1.82 lakh crore for this scheme and it will be implemented from May 2025. All the students of Andhra Pradesh state who are studying from class 1 to 12 are eligible to avail the benefit of Thalliki Vandanam.
